Derrick Casey is a financial advisor with a professional focus on small business planning. He began his career in finance in 2001, working as a lender and mutual funds advisor, and has since expanded his expertise to include comprehensive wealth management and insurance planning. With a passion for helping clients build, protect, and transition their wealth, Derrick is committed to delivering practical, personalized financial strategies.

Being self-employed since 2006 has given Derrick a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the needs and challenges facing business owners. His approach is grounded in real-world experience, allowing him to provide meaningful guidance to entrepreneurs and families alike.

As a father of four, Derrick understands the importance of financial security and long-term planning for those who depend on you. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, he remains actively involved in the community. He has served on several boards and has been a Director with the Grande Prairie Airport Commission since 2022. He is also engaged in the local musical theatre community and contributes his time through his home church.

Outside of his professional work, Derrick enjoys golfing, drumming, and performing stand-up comedy.
